Technical Information

Hydro SMP was started in late 2018, and has remained Vanilla ever since. We make use of a couple of performance enhancing and QoL mods that improve upon the Vanilla game, but do not alter it!

Minecraft Server

Hydro SMP is using Fabric as its platform to run on. We used to run on Paper but since this changes too many Vanilla features we've decided to move to Fabric.

Our server is hosted by DedicatedMC.io and is ran on an AMD Ryzen 7 7950X with 20GB of RAM! We can guarantee 20 TPS and closely monitor this using a Grafana page. The server is based in Germany, Europe.

We use a couple of performance enhancing and moderation tools which are listed below:

  • Geyser (we now allow Bedrock clients!)

  • PerPlayerWanderingTraders (so everyone can get those wandering trades!)

  • Shulker+ (for customized shulkerboxes)
